I'll have to post pics, but I did my first restringing/sueding last night! Bobobie bodies are notorious for floppy looseness, so I cleaned off Aria's old Bobobie body, scribbed it, washed it, then hot glue sueded it and put my mnf Juri '08 head, Jurianna on it and she now poses wonderfully! She's now got a body! One day she'll end up with a mnf cutie bust body, but yay for her getting a body she can wander around on!

Yeah, sueding takes fricken forever, especially when I scrub and clean beforehand. But I cheat on the sueding - I like my fingers unburnt too, and I read a tutorial on DoA that suggested using a piece of paper to flatten the glue. Gets a nice even smoothness and keeps my fingers with their prints intact.

Hrrrmmmm.
Maybe I'll have to try something like that next time.

Cleaning isn't any fun either, but it always looks better in the end, so I don't mind it~

Second: It's a dress for a wearable art segment. White with origami fabric butterflies and flowers. I'll try and link to some pictures when it's done.
