Best place to shop

i was wondering what all of you would consider a good place to shop for wigs and clothing at fair prices.

Dollmore is one of the best places for clothes in terms of prices, in my opinion.

You know, I can't think of any sites that sell wigs for less than others. They all seem to cost about the same wherever I've gone. I guess my best suggestion for wigs might be Ebay.

If you want to buy it online, many, many of the online doll shops do sell it. It's usually sold under the "tools" or "tools for customization" sort of headings. For example, on Dollmore it's listed under the "For custom > Tool for custom" category.

If you live somewhere that has a decent-sized fabric shop a less expensive option is just to see if they carry round elastic in their notions department.

Take a sample of the elastic your doll came with when you go to the fabric store so you can make sure you get a similar diameter - if it's too thin, your doll may end up floppy, and if it's too thick, it may be too much tension. Either way, your doll will be difficult and frustrating to pose. Different sizes of dolls need different diameters of elastic.

I've actually taken my dolls right in to the fabric store compare elastics.
