I am hopefully be going to live in Cali with a dear doll friend of mine who, over the last few years, has become more of a sister than a friend!

Now, I don't want to leave any of my crew at home and she wants to see them all but...I live in central Florida and she lives in Norther Cali...how would someone go about moving 10+ BJD's across state like that?

I've moved twice with my dolls, but not that far.

When I moved, I just packed them in the car like I do for vacation. All the MSDs and tinies in the travel bags/doll carriers by my feet, and my SD on my lap.

How are you planning on moving everything else?

Well, probably by some moving company if I can afford it or just have the important stuff shipped to be in batches? I will be going up their Via airplane and may even have to take two flights to get there...since a straightshot is expensive.

If you're flying, you could have them in a carry on.

I still think packing and shipping them would be best, especially since your moving in with a doll friend. :3

I wouldn't do it with all of your dolls. xD

Just the ones you don't trust to the postal company again.

A couple of months ago I moved back to the US and I packed my dolls up in a big trunk and shipped them via post. you can probably find a good trunk or footlocker at walmart. I wrapped each doll similarly to how they came from the company so super bubble wrapped Laugh and then packed each box with blankets or towels lining the inside of the trunk. I had fewer dolls at the time so I was able to pack them all in their boxes in one trunk but it might be easiest for you to just pack them super bubble wrapped without the boxes and pad the trunk really well so you can fit all 10 in one trunk. it'll save you money. the shipping of the trunk wasn't terrible but 10 dolls will probably make it a bit heavier but it's a worthwhile expense. you can even have it sent with an order for signature so it would have to go directly to your friend Regular
